WARNING: This will definitely be a full rant post. Lots of words and most likely not all of it will make sense! If you are a busy person and/or you are here for photos...abort now hahaha
Everybody has things they can't live with. I'm assuming for many these days, it would be Netflix or their phone or internet or... yeah you get the picture.
There are a lot of things I can't live without, since I have become a girl who is reliant on many things, but skincare and makeup are definitely the top 2 on the list! Even if there is no internet, or all the ice cream has been eaten, if I didn't have my skincare and makeup products, I would certainly sink into a deep depression.
Here is my list of the top 5 beauty related products that I have been loving these days (too much possibly...)

Here is my list of the top 5 beauty related products that I have been loving these days (too much possibly...)
1. Hera UV Mist Cushion (Ultra Moisture is my favorite type) - After using this for over a year now, this is still my go-to base product! Even though I have many other cushions and other BB creams, CC creams, Foundations etc etc, the coverage and texture is just right for me when I need something to quickly put on and go! Plus it's really easy to carry around, so touching up during the day is no fuss at all <3
2. Medi Derm Hydrocolloid Dressing - For people who break out a lot like me, it's really important to make sure that your pimples don't become exposed to too much bacteria, and even if you do pop it (even though we really shouldn't...), it heals properly and keeps scarring to a minimum. Enter hydrocolloid. I had been using the Nexcare 3M Acne patches for ages, on and off, but after finding about this during one of my regular walkarounds in W Cosmetics, I have been converted! The price is pretty much the same to what I would pay for if I was buying the Nexcare ones here (around $11-13 for Nexcare, $11 for these ones), but there is a difference in quantity! Even though they both work in exactly the same way.
3. LUSH Love Lettuce Fresh Face Mask - This is a product that I keep coming back to! The thing that got me started with this downhill spiralling obsession with LUSH was the Magnaminty mask (which I also love...but not as much...). But then I started trying out the fresh face masks and this one is pretty much a staple for me. Even though I have tried most of the other ones (just not ones for oily/ 'rough' skin), there are a few reasons why I come back to 'Love Lettuce'.
a) The ingredients and the way they have been ground is the PERFECT exfoliator. I use this mask maybe one 1-2 times a week because it is for like a good deep clean kind of thing. If I used it any more than this, I would probably be overdoing it a bit.
b) Suitable for my skin type - Not just suitable, its like...a match, we are compatible <3 Since my skin is sensitive and dry I need a product that isn't too harsh. At the same time, it's really easy for my skin to become patchy/ uneven so I need something that can smooth it out. This is what 'Love Lettuce' does for me
c) I'm lazy - I have been trying to make my own masks lately, mostly because then I know for sure that they ingredients are 110% fresh and organic (Most ingredients I use are from my own garden grown or 'harvested' by my dad :D). But....yeah. I'm lazy. As much fun as it is to pretend to be a witch, mixing and stirring things together, the process of grinding everything and checking the quantities, consistency etc. is just too much for me to do on a regular basis. Plus, I can't make big batches all at once since my concoctions go off really quickly...

4. Primera Gel Masks - On my last trip to Sydney I picked up some new products from the lovely lady I usually buy my Hera things from. She had recommended Primera to me last time and gave me heaps of their samples to get an idea of the brand. Anyway, I read up on them and found the samples pretty good and I decided to stock up on their gel masks. Considering how expensive gel masks usually are (I remember that even Nature Republic sells their ones for about $3-$4 per mask), the price was pretty decent at $5 each. I wanted to try all the types she had available so I did a bit of mix and matching haha. And the best thing about gel masks is that there is always heaps of leftover essence at the bottom of the pack, and even that lasts me a few days :D I just collect all the leftover essence from the masks I use hehehe
5. Eyelash extensions - This isn't exactly a product, but after getting eyelash extensions for the first time earlier this year, I am now addicted! I didn't use to think so much about having long eyelashes and I accepted my little tiny eyelashes an using falsies or mascara...but after getting them done...*sigh* yeah, I'll just continue being a 'fake' beauty with my extensions. When I wake up in the morning and see myself in the mirror, I can just wink at myself with my luscious eyelashes and everything will be fine. It's really amazing how much difference something as little as long or short eyelashes can have one a person's appearance...
If you're still here after that enormous as ramble...wow. I love you. hahahaha. Anyway, thanks as always for putting up with my slackness <3 Hope you enjoyed the post!
